DIY Supplies for Keycard / Tip Holders and Luggage Tags

Recommended Posts

Check out www.westcoastlanyards.com for all the supplies you need to DIY keycard / tip holders and luggage tags.

I've been searching locally, online, ebay, and the BDW site...and I've finally found a "one stop" shop for all of the supplies that I need. Another great thing about this company is that I live in Canada and they will ship here. I talked to one of the guys on the phone and he was super to deal with and even did the USD to CAD conversion for me so there were no surprises. This is also perfect because there will also only be one shipping charge instead of going through 4 different companies with 4 shipping charges and 4 exchange conversions. I'm super excited!!

At this time we have 42 people booked (with 2 bags each so we will need 84 luggage tags)...and about 20 rooms booked (so I thought I would order 30 holders).

My order (on Monday) will be 100 luggage tag holders, 100 luggage tag straps with the buckle, 30 resealable badge holders, and 30 lanyards. All of this for about $150 (Canadian) which is sooo worth it.

I am designing the business cards in vistaprint as we speak...and there will be one set for luggage tag holders and one set for the keycard holder. I think this will be about $15 (Canadian) in shipping.

YAY!! This is my first DIY project and I'm so excited about it :)

Emme which holder did you order to use for the luggage tags? I only see the hard plastic ones.

I used these ones...

LUG-1845-2001

Colored Semi-Rigid Vinyl Luggage Tag Holder. Clear vinyl face, holds business cards, back side can be custom-printed.

They just came in yesterday and they are great for what we're using them for!! The back of them is hard and the front of them is plastic. I can slide a business card (luggage tag info) inside and then loop the strap through to hold it all in. I didn't even think about going with a more flexible one...but it certainly is another option...they're just so hard to come by for a good price in Canada.
