Any MOH or brisedmaids trying to slim down?

I worked there from day 1 of opening! It was INSANE! If you want to get shopping done there, go during the week days. It's pretty dead. Sunday is good for shopping, not returning things though. I love their textiles and kids stuff!

I was pudgy, not fat until about 18, then I was skinny girl til about 22 when I met my fiance. I'm hoping to get back to skinny girl and stay that way. If I do get back to a size 8 (any smaller and I look sickly), I'm going to walk around my house naked all the time LOL

All my friends that have children packed on the baby weight and all 3 are working like crazy to lose it.

It doesn’t take long to pack on the baby weight but it’s he** on wheels to get it off! I feel the same way. Once I lose he rest of this weight I’m so gonna be more scantily clad. *LOL*

I mean, even now, I dress way more sexy than I did a few years back so I KNOW I’m gonna be dangerous when I get in my size 6! It’s really gonna be serious when we get to smoking hot Vegas! I plan to wear mostly bikini tops and halters.

woah! i'm gone for a few hours and i miss everything!!

A) thanks for the awesome support guys :) you are too sweet

B) I WISH MY FI told me not to lose weight!!! hahaha he never says anything negative but he knows that I will be happier because I'm so self-conscious when my weight fluctuates like this.

C) I agree Crystal - He's gonna die when he sees me at 135 (currently 166).....and I WILL DIE when I FINALLY FEEL comfortable in a bikini!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

whoooooooooooooooo! keep up the good work ladies :)

Crystal~ When I got married I was dying in all of the layers of clothes I had to wear to try to camouflage the rolls of fat. I mean this in the most “not attracted to women way†but there was some serious sexy shapes going on and I wanted to be one of them! I felt totally beautiful on my wedding day but we as woman all have a certain weight and body that we feel amazing in and Iâ€m trying to get back to mine.

Josie~This thread is really a huge help to me so ladies please keep posting so we can motivate each other, My hubby never complained but after I lost the weight I asked him if he wanted me to lose weight and before I could completely get the question out he blurted “YES!†He said he has always been attracted to me but loves the newer me much better. Plus he is a huge wrestling fan and them darn wrestling Divas get too much of his attention. *LOL*

You just keep working at that 135, youâ€re gonna get there in no time flat!

Okay so my nightmare is over! I went to the doctor Wednesday and he didn’t find a hernia and I don’t need anymore surgery. I just have to take it easy to allow my body to continue to heal and sloooowly ease back into things. I can TOTALLY do that! I have been so active it’s shocking and this morning I got up at 4:30 and hit my treadmill for 45 minutes of walking! I’m so pumped!! I’ve started juicing again, Last summer I was juicing everything and felt so good. I’m proudly sporting my Aeropostale’ shirt *SIZE M* and it’s not even tight!

Woo-Hoo for small victories eh??

Congrats Desihue - That is wonderful news!! I'm so glad the doctor confirmed no surgery is needed!! woo hoo! I feel like you have awesome will power and will be very disiplined and of course we already know you're really active which is amazing! Great Job!

This weekend is my MOH's bachelorette party (I'm her MOH too). We're doing a cubs rooftop with unlimited food & beer so I might have to chalk this day up to a "loss" and be extra active next week!

Wish me luck :)

Josie, how was the shin-dig last weekend? I hope you didnâ€t do too much damage but even if you did just make sure to get back on track this week for sure.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Iâ€m in PMS he**. I have been craving chocolate like nobodyâ€s business, however, I have been on track with my exercise. I canâ€t even lie, I had a caramel twix already this morning! *LOL* I was so darn crabby I had to just give into the craving or someone might have been in danger of getting their head bit off.
You are too funny! Every now and then we HAVE to give in for our sanity :)
I completely fell off this weekend and part of this week. I probably gained my weight back and then some and have totally been avoiding the scale. The only good thing about it was yesterday I was so disappointed in myself (also realizing not only am I MOH in 1 month and my dress DOES NOT FIT...but my wedding is coming up soon too and I wanted to lose 30 lbs). I have no more time to waste!!! I freaked out and pushed myself to my absolute max yesterday and did 5 miles straight on the eliptical. I burned over 400 calories. I was proud of pushing myself that hard, but NEED to get my eating on track....its so embarassing that I can't control it!
WOW!! 5 miles is awesome on the elli machine but if this is not something that your body is accustomed to on a regular basis, you run a hug risk of injury or extreme fatigue. No time to waste is an excellent incentive but itâ€s a also dangerous because you donâ€t want to go to extreme measures and end up hurt. I month is enough time to drop a decent amount of weight with out killing yourself if you really focus and stay consistent. Itâ€s about making choices. Nothing in this world can be worth not being able to look good in both the MOH dress as well as your own dress. Get your focus, put on your game face and letâ€s see you lose this weight. muscle.gif
