Timing of Ceremony

I was just trying to make my ceremony program and was wondering at what point in the ceremony do you sign the marriage license? Is it after the declaration of marriage? Do you sign the license and then walk down the isle?

no one can help me out with this?

I have no idea since I'm not married yet either! I think (from seeing other peoples pic's) you sign it sometime during the ceremony....towards the end maybe? I hope someone can help! I think you sign it after the vows and everything, and before you walk back down the aisle...if that makes sense!

I was just looking at program to see, but I didn't list the signing in it. I think we signed the marriage license after exchanging rings. Then they do a declaration of marriage, then you walk down the aisle.

This is not an exact answer. But, I was working on my program. I used the following order:

Prelude

Processional

Greeting

Reading (we are having one)

Marriage Vows

Exchange of Rings

Signing of the Marriage Certificate

Sand Ceremony

Pronouncement of Marriage

Recessional

I put at the bottom...

In the spirit of "No Problem" the ceremony may change

I figured this is the best way to handle it...
