Thanks chicas grouphug.gif

Mother's Day is always a little hard, but last night just hit me. It made me both smile and tear up to read your responses. Thanks for the support :)

Actually last night I wrote my WC and asked if we could do a sort of "Butterfly Release", ya know - like they do with the doves? I don't know if we can swing it... but I'm really trying to find a way to incorporate at least a symbol of a butterfly. wink.gif

K, I'm totally gonna need a hankie for this wedding!! LOL

((hugs)) I think the ring/garter idea is so wonderful. Even if you can't find the ring maybe there's something else you can use.

I think many of us are "missing" someone from our special day but they will be right there, even if we can't see them.

Kleenex in the FI's pocket might be a good idea though...

I am so sorry that you are going through the same thing I am. I lost my mother when I was 19 years old to cirrhosis and I'm 30 now, so its going on 11 years next month and I still miss and think of her everyday.

Our moms will be there in spirit!!!

Hang in there and if you ever need to vent to someone who knows how you feel please feel free to write me.

Jamie - this just brought me to tears....I lost my mom almost 4 years ago to cancer and not having her with me on my wedding day is one of the things I used to cry the hardest about. I'm 2 months out and don't know how I will get through the day. SO special that you have your butterflies -I have a special story like that with my mom and when she passed. I wish you the best and know she will be looking down on you - she will have the best seat in the house!
