You can block your friends list! I am not sure if you figure this out already or not, but you CAN do it. Lots of people do it. You can block your entire existence so that only your friends can see it. So if you have not figured this out, let me know.

Actually, I am pretty sure he is right. Alyssa just told me this like a week or so ago. If someone sends you a message and you reply (if they aren't on your friends list, but they found you either thru a friend or just searching), they have access to your profile for 30 days. Or something similar to that. I would just be careful who you respond to! (Like sometimes if I had a friend reqeust, I might send them a message and say "do I know you?" or something similar and I guess that would give them access to my page. So now I won't be doing that anymore!)

Oh Carly I misunderstood, I was talking about making your friend list, etc.. private. But what you said is true, if you reply to them they do have access to your limited profile for a while, not your full profile though.

You mean, what I said is true. Next time just take what I say at face value.

Again, if you reply to someone, or simply send them a message, they can see your basic information, who you're married to, friends list, pretty much the works except all your photos. And yes, I figured out how to block my friends list already thank you very much.

Like I said, I thought I sensed a tone, a condescending tone but if you're telling me that wasn't the case, then I truly am sorry.

EDIT: I'm not here to start fights, just be myself and be respectful to others. I'll accept my faults and be accountable for them when they occur.

I found it a little odd that if you responded to someone, regardless of your profile security, that it would show your spouse and your whole friends list. I would think Facebook would give you the option to do this but perhaps they figure if someone you don't know is trying to contact you, you should be able to see all the necessary details about them.

You did not sense a tone from me, I never gave any tone and in fact I was being nice and trying to help someone I didn't know.

 

The tone you got from me was the one I was blatant about where I didn't believe your apology was sincere and obviously I was correct about that. Trust me, my tone is not subtle if I think your being an ass I will flat out tell you.

You didn't leave any emotions in there for me to think otherwise. The exclamation mark and bold CAN just turned me off. So I'm sorry you feel like I'm being an ass, I apologized if you're claiming there wasn't a condescending tone. I don't have time to fight with you, so let's not go there. What else do you want from me? I think this has been blown way out or proportion. I'm adult enough to apologize and mean it, can you do the same?
