geminilibra - kidney stones are supposed to be one of the most painful things. I feel horrible for you... have they passed yet?

Summer - I love your pics! The middle one is beautiful too.

Kelly - boo on failing the test... I am scared of that too. Although I haven't been into sweets much so far. I'm sure that craving will come back though as I'm always a sweet tooth usually.

Yay Jenn!!! I just 'came out' on here too. humble.gif

We just had our 11w neuchal translucency (sp?) test yesterday. Unfortunately the tech couldn't measure what she had to measure because the baby wasn't big enough yet, so we go back next week.

In a way, it's awesome as I get to see him/her again and this scan was the coolest ever.

It totally blew me away. The baby was moving around like crazy and we could totally make out the head and body and see (somewhat) arms and legs.

woot.gif I'm still giddy about it all!

Hello ladies! I've been MIA sad.gif This week has been crazy and I'm so glad it's over! My grandmom passed away on Monday and with the funeral on Wednesday, it's been hectic. I'm handling it pretty well and was mainly concerned about my dad (it's his mom) but, he's handling it well too; or at least putting on a brave face. I'm taking him baby shopping on Sunday to get his mind off things. Otherwise, I'm doing well and growing! Here's my latest belly pic at 35 weeks 1 day. I haven't felt it but it looks like I've grown A LOT!

Bisha - sorry to hear about your grandmother hug2.gif It's hard to watch a parent lose one of their parents, but it's so nice for your dad that he has a little grandbaby to look forward to. bunny.gif

Your baby bump is so cute!

I went out with MIL to a big kids garage sale today and I bought... a high chair. blush2.gif It's our first piece of baby-related furniture. I feel like a dork! I won't even need a high chair for another year. doh.gif Oh well. It's cute and in really good condition.

I'm feeling good mostly. A little digestive weirdness today though. Mostly I'm just dying to let people know that I'm pg. It's really been bothering me that I have to hide it for so damn long. DH really wants to wait until we've had the screening results back. Our u/s that screened was supposed to be this Thu, but the baby was too small. Now it's set again for next Wed and I don't know how long before we get results. I just want to shout it out to everyone...

kevsgirl-I hear you I had such a hard time keeping it quiet until we decided to tell people! We tried waiting to make it through the first trimester, just to be safe nothing unspeakable happened...But I couldn't hold it in that long and told a few close friends! We have only had ultrasounds to check up on how babes is doing. We chose not to do any of the other screenings testing for any birth defects.

okay girls this gestational thing is harder than I thought. And Im a emotional wreck. Im never full. I woke up at 5am planning out my day. Of when i have to test and what Im going to eat and where, and and and. its like my brian wont stop about it. Then I was making myseld a salad tonight for lunch tomorrow and I cut my thumb. You would have thought I cut off my thumb the way I started crying. It really didnt hurt that bad it was the principal of one more thing to go wrong. Its going to be a long last few weeks over here. My poor hubby. I already sent out an apology email to all my friends and told them I would understand if they didnt talk to me until after she arrived. Sorry for such a long rant...

Thank you girls for the complements on the belly!! I can't believe how much it's grown! :)

kevs girl and Summer - totally understand how you're feeling. I wanted to tell everyone soooo bad. We told family super early, I told my BF after the 1st ultrasound and everyone else not until around 19 weeks.

Kelly - so sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I remember having those emotional days and letting hubby and everyone else know to stay away! At least you gave them all a fair warning! :)

Well, I'm super duper excited today!! We went baby shopping and bought lots of stuff! My shower was originally scheduled for this Saturday but was moved to next Sat so I just couldn't wait any longer to get the essentials. We got the car seat, a bedding set and other little knick knacks but those two were the major stuff! Check it out:

Thank you! We were actually thinking of a completely different set but fell in love with this one in the store. It's so soft and cuddly:) The nursery is still a work in progress and desperately needs some pictures on the walls but I just couldn't wait to put the sheets in and attach the mobile to see how it all comes together.
