so, I have sent Landy 2 emails in the past 2 days asking Landy a few questions. We are leaving on Monday and wanted to finish my welcome letter and wanted to see what time our welcome dinner was. I am so frustrated right now. UGH!!!

It really was an AWESOME day. I really did like the makeup...it was just under my eye where it looked too cakey and on my nose that had already started to peel...woops! We watched so many weddings it's crazy! Where was yourshuh.gif What were your colours?

Everyone was really happy with their hair...they did an awesome job considering two of by BM have shorter hair.

Did you come home right after the wedding? Wasn't the food and everything amazing! I can't say enougth about it and the staff!

Congratulations to all the new Mrs.'s!!

Denise - I believe you used Moments that Matter. I am thinking of using them as well and would love to hear about them. And, of course, would love to see your pics when you get them!!!

I have another question regarding food...i have a few vegetarians in my group. Does anyone know what they serve them during the receptionhuh.gif

Also, has anyone offered three entrees? I know that we can have more than 1 entree as long as we give them a headcount.

Thanks ladies

When I talked to Natalia she said that they veggie options are:
Vegetarian Lasagna and spagetti with grilled veggies...not sure about the 3 options. I had to go to bat for 2 options

Haha - I started to peel too!! My wedding was the next day and my girls wore long pink dresses. My dress was a big glitsy pouf =) We had the reception in the convention center, cocktail hour on the terrace by the chapel and ceremony of course on the beach.

As for our hair experience, we all wound up LOVING our hair HOWEVER, we had to teach the Trinidad what we wanted. We wanted BIG hair and we all have superlong hair and she just didn't know wear to start. The first 'do was my MOH and all she did was basically put it in a side pony and curled the bottom. We were like 'oh, helllll no!' and made her do it over again. By the time she got to my hair, she had the idea. We're boufant (sp?) kinda girls wink.gif When we were done, Carlos, the spa manager took 900000 pictures of us =)

We just came home on Saturday - we stayed a week after the wedding. The place was absolutely amazing and not just because we got married there. We honestly can't stop talking about how freakin' awesome it was. The staff at that hotel should win nobel peace prizes.

And now we all keep saying "It's my pleasure." hhehhee

For photography, we used Sascha Gluck.

He was friggin' amazing - we loved him and our pictures are phenominal.

Once I get the DVD I'll post them, for now I just have teasers on my home Mac.

Hey MajikDreams...I think you might actually be talking about my wedding on the Thursday LOL!!! My mom ran to the salon right after she fixed my makeup!!! Trinidad did a terrible job...I don't recommend anyone getting their makeup done there. The quality of the makeup was aweful as well...everything was oil based.

Hey maybride!

Don't let your agent bum you out! I haven't been there yet - but if you read the reviews - they are awesome! I can't wait to go in 6 weeks! Don't let your agent ruin anything for you - and I sure hope you didn't book through Flight Centre! I booked my group through them and it has been a gong show! Good luck with everything! :)

What did you do for your cocktail hour?
We had our cocktail hour right next to where we were married. It was right on the beach, and everyone was right there already. Everyone seemed to enjoy it.

We used the resort photographer, and we were very happy with our photos. I'm a huge picture person, so I was soooo nervous about it all. We needed to save money where we could also, so we had to go with the resort photographer. We had Nicholas, and he did a great job. Ill try to get some pics up soon. the only thing we had issues with was they told me he would be up to my room 1/2 an hour before the ceremony to take pics of the girls "getting ready." But he never showed up. I wasn't terribly upset about it, but if that's important to you, make sure you speak up. Also, they told me they'd send two photographers to get all of our guests etc since we had such a large group, but we ended up with just Nicholas. Oh well. Overall we were really happy. Hope this helps.
