Composting Anyone?

ikupoo, i am in northern cali as well and think that worms will do fine in the compost during the winter because during the breakdown/composting things really heat up in the pile. i can't wait to have worms in my compost pile!!

we compost using red wriggler worms (vermiculture). We bought a system online, and they stay in our garage - there's absolutely no smell, and the worms have been doing fine for about a year and a half. It's pretty cool! We don't have the backyard for a compost pile, so this was the best solution. You can check out the Worm Factory

I've been thinking about composting for about a year now. We live in S. Florida and am worried if it's too hot down here.....
