Thanks for the info though. Do you think that I can give it to them before we leave home to alleviate the problem? Or maybe I should just tell them I'm paying for those things while we're shopping, and then save a little something to give when we're down there. What do you think?

I wasn't thinking about the shoes gift - yes, definitely give them ahead of time so they can break them in. You can tell them you're buying the jewelry to match their dresses and save it to give them in Mexico - a nice little surprise.

Hi Ladies --

I emailed Jacy re: several items over the past few weeks. She did confirm the Mexican buffet option for the rehersal would $18/pp. I am confirming that this does include alcohol. I will let you know.

The tulle that was in Laura's pics and the lanterns in the gazebo hanging there, are included with no additional fee.

The cocktail hr includes waiter passed cocktails. Maybe they just were not coming quick enough, but I told Jacy that this would not be acceptable for the guests to go to the bar.

The Ultimate package comes with photog and video UNLESS you decided to exchange these items for other services.

I also am making sure there is a business center or something to print welcome letters on since locations won't be decided until I get there.

I booked a group excursion today as well. Don't know anything about the company other than what I read on-line, but the prices were not to be beat!

Sail, swim, snorkel, parasail, and enjoy the Mayan Riviera with Paradise Catamarans. Our private catamaran charters make every outing a memorable event.

What lanterns are you referring to that are free? The ones I remember were sort of long cylenders and I thought that was at the baracuda bar(everything seemed to be lighted red like it is in pictures?? Can you clarify? Thanks!!

I am pretty sure I am getting the standard paradise package, but do you think I can bring my own tulle and decorations for the gazebo? I also want to upgrade my cake to a 3 tier. I just want to have the ceremony and everyone can eat at one of the restaurants since all my guests will be staying there anyway. I would like to rent to Dj for 3 hours after dinner so everyone can dance. Is this possible you think to do it this way? I dont want to pay extra for food when there is dinner already included in the room rate. I dont mind if we sit with strangers :)

You can bring your own tulle/decorations for the gazebo. As for the cake, I looked through my DPA info and I'm assuming you have to pay the customized cake fee of $5 per person. The DJ is $190 per hour + 10% tip. I remember some one mentioned a possible charge for the set up of the dance floor. However, after seeing Laura's review it sounds like the sand does just fine.
