Good Luck, I wish I had some better words of advise.
Thanks! I called him and told him that he had to call the RE agent and the mortgage guy and they were both expecting calls this afternoon. Well, his tune changed when that happened. Now he says he just wanted to wait because we will both be away for a week (we will) and didn't think we could do anything if we aren't home. Duh, that's what cell phones and computers are for! So, we are putting in our counter offer today. I hate to feel like I'm "making" him do something, but really this has to get done...

Don't feel bad! He has been dicking around for months now...if pushing the responsibility of calling the RE & MB is what is going to get him to actually do something then I say go for it!! I hope it works out sweetie!! You've had enough of this shit!

Do not feel bad! You are not making him do anything! Just because you told him he has to call doesn't mean he can't tell them he wants to wait. You are doing the right thing. He needs to grow up and put on his big boy pants!

Keep us posted, I hope you feel better now, keep standing up for what you want, there is nothing wrong with that especially when he is not holding up his end of the deal.

11k?? Really?? Holy those little munchkins are expensive!! LOL
Yeah...DH and I were talking about getting rid of some of our debt, then we would start talking babies!
It would definitely be hard to go to school & have a baby at the same time - but lots of people do it so it's not impossible if you really want both!

To put it into perspective ladies, when my kids were little it cost about $150 a week per kid for daycare. Now keep in mind I live in Iowa where cost of living is cheaper too. So with 2 kids in full time daycare I was spending more a month on daycare than my mortgage payment!! Something to think about... the rest is nothing that can't be handled, clothes, diapers etc can all be worked into a budget...

my confession is that i'm 36 and still waiting for my "biological clock" to even start ticking at all! i just have never looked at a baby and thought "ooooh i want one!" i don't know if it's just that i'm never around children (i in fact have never changed a diaper, never fed a baby, and can probably count on both hands the number of times i've even held one)? i feel like something's wrong with me.

Mummergirl, there's nothing wrong with you lol. I know quite a few people that fit your description to a tee! Acutally we talk about it frequently, how some people think that having kids is "the next thing to do" after getting married. But really, says who? Maybe one day you'll have different feelings about it, and if not, that's ok!!!
