Hello my fellow BDW ladies and gents. :-)

We have so many fun and creative people on this forum, so I thought I would ask you for your help.

When I was creating my photography website, I completely over looked the idea of adding a tag line to my business name. So over the past couple weeks I have been trying to come up with one, well I hit a brick wall. I've seen some awesome tag lines from other photographers, one of my favs that I have seen is "Lifestyle photography for Fabulous People". I was wondering if you guys would help me come up with a tag line for my website? Please? Pretty Please, with suger on top? :-)

What about "We capture your most beautiful moments"? A little cheesy.

Or "Life is Beautiful" (Was that a movie?)

Or pick a few words that describe what photography is all about to you. I dunno, like

"Life. Art. Beauty."

hope this helps get the creative juices flowin! :)

I see you read jasmine's blog :)

I'd avoid the three word cath phrases. they have just become too popular lately & it has lost it's impact. I think there was a workshop that encouraged people to come up with them.

After reading Jasmine's blog post I started thinking about catch phrases, too. I think it's really important to keep it true to your style. So I think the first step is to really nail down what your style is.

maybe gather up your favorite pictures that you've shot & see what they have in common. Some of my favorites are in my siggy. What I love is a big laugh or other real emotions. My favorite is kids in action playing and having fun. I'll have that in my head today & see if a tagline comes to mine.

Also, think about the people who would be a good fit for working with you. Are you all about the glamour? Passion? One of my favorite taglines is SarahQ's "photography for happy people." She will add in additional adjectives, too. It really fits what she does & who she works with.

Good luck. I'll look through your pictures & post if I think of soemthing.

It's funny Morgan, I have been thinking of Tag lines for a few weeks now and then I seen Jasmine's post and it really made me realize I need to get one narrowed down. I like the moments between the shots the most. the ones that your aren't expecting.. KWIM?

yep, i know what you mean.

That makes me think words like natural, true, essence...

oh, I did a spell check on essence & got the idea to look at synonyms....

spirit, core, honest, sincere

i'd avoid candid. a lot of people mistake the word candid for posed silliness. plus it's used a lot. I don't think a tagline is that useful if it doesn't say something unique about you.

I'm pulling out the big, fat thesaurus my grandma gave me in elementary school. I was the envy of the 5th grade with my huge thesaurus. the funniest thing is that she used the same word twice in the letter she wrote on the front cover.

brb...

I like anything with the word 'Fabulous' in it! Here are some ideas you might be able to tweak to make your own. Good luck. PS, any more cute doggie pics for us?

"Photographing the details(moments) that capture your heart."

Let no memory go undocumented.

Moving moments into memories.

It's the little things that make a moment yours...

I know what you mean about liking the "candid", in between poses, people not realizing they are being photographed, raw photos.

How about something like...

Capturing the moments in between..

The best moments are the unexpected.. capture them.

or in the one you mentioned liking it used the word fabulous.. if you like that word.. then maybe..

Fabulous photos create fabulous memories.

Hmm.. thats all I've got for now. I think I need more coffee to be creative.
