Invitation Question:Age limit

Hi girls...so this is for the future...now that I'm having the wedding here in CA. I will be inviting relatives and and such.

Well Erik, my mom, and I have decided to keep the guest list down to 100 people we would have an adult only party. (I have relatives with millions of children).

The only thing is I have my nephew who will be going and he will be 16. So we decided to have an adult only party but allow 16 year olds and up come.

How do I word this on the invitation?

Do I write at the bottom of the invitation:

Adults Only (children 16 and up welcomed)

I would just put adults only, but when you are addressing the actual invite, you sould write "Mr. and Mrs. XXX and (son's name)"

then on the RSVP card pre-fill the number of attendees.

does that make sense?

just put adults only reception and then speak to those people in person about that you don't mind their 16 year olds and up to come.

I would just put the guests you want to invite on the invitation, like Amy said

I would also just list the names on the envelope and maybe on the invite put adult reception, or adults only reception

I agree just list the names on the envelope. My sister did this at her wedding and no kids came. If you want a couple and their child just list all 3 names
