Sarah: I'll keep an eye out for the dress anyways. I'll write down the sizes each store has...when you finally do find out the size I can go back for you and get it...no big deal...the farthest store is only 15 mins away from me.

K'osh - thanks so much, you are so sweet! I got an email from my MOH this morning telling me that there's no way you'll find the dress, that she has checked apparently every store across Canada and is now calling the states, and that the feature color of that dress is eggplant....which is what most stores carry. Unfortunately, its been left too late and to order it in her size in that color would take 12 weeks (we leave in 7). And the bugger still wouldn't tell me her size!!

I am a bit mad about the way she's going about this....in a way I feel like it's somehow my fault but I don't think it is. So she said she's waiting to hear back from stores in the states and will let me know...

Well girls I'm happy to say that my MOH found the Alfred Angelo dress, in Cobalt, in her size, at a store in NY. It is being shipped out within a month and her seamstress is on notice for rush alterations. Hallelujah I'm having a glass of wine....or 2

Glad she found the dress!!!! You must be relieved!! I looked at the stores just in case and your MOH was right...none of them had it. Enjoy the BOTTLE of wine.

When are you leaving? Did you book yet?

Jill: We have not booked yet. The travel agent we went to talk to was so busy we couldn't even get in to talk to anyone. I sent an e-mail to Yaly this week..haven't heard back yet...to see how busy the first week in May was. I really don't want to arrive down there and have to wait to the last day of our vacation to get married.

We should be booking with our travel agent this week. We are just working out a few more details beacuse I have people flying out of Alberta, Newfoundland, and New Brunswick. I "think" we are leaving May 15, 2010.

I have e-mailed Yaly on available dates for that week, just waiting to hear back from her.
