TTD video in Riviera Maya cenotes!

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I am sure many of you have seen pics from the cenotes in Riviera Maya but I wanted to give you a different perspective. I made this video for Kirsten & David in December when we were there to capture their wedding. We searched for a cool location to do a day after "TTD" shoot and this is what we found. The first minute or so is in Playa del Carmen and the second part is in the cenotes. Enjoy!

The video is Quicktime and might take a minute or two to load.

Here are also some of the pics from there amazing wedding- Kirsten and David were winners of our destination wedding contest we had through the forum!!!

In the pics teaser, where was that last cenote/cave? Did you guys have to get special permission to use it? Thanks!

A little more info on the cenotes for those who asked. I don't remember the exact name of the one we went to, but they were just south of Playa del Carmen just past Puerto Adventures. There was no guide at all, we just went in and went where we wanted to without anyone bothering us. The thing that we didn't want, a big tour with a bunch of people around... We looked for smaller cenotes with not much exposure to tourists and that's what we found.

the link won't open in either of my browsers. other websites seem to be working and I'm definitely not knowledgeable enough to know what is going on sad.gif We did our TTD session at Azul Cenote, which is just south of Puerto Aventuras as well. Ours did not the kick ass cave that is in the teaser pic but we had some beautifully colored water to work with.
