Dreams Cabo Photographers?

Thomas did our engagement photos. We chose another photographer for the wedding but were did get some great photos and he's SUPER hard working. The man was running everywhere. Many of the poses he had us try were really not us (little cheesy) so it came across as uncomfortable in some of the photos. It was our first time with professional photos and needed alot of direction, which he was good at. Many of the photos were soft focus.. I guess it's more about the style of photos you're looking for. We wanted more artsy/detail shots. I'm not familiar with the other photographers but I know Dreams recommended Thomas when we were planning.

 

Thank you for sharing your experience with Thomas - his website looks very good and he seems to have several techniques that can accomdate each couple. Did you get to keep the proofs from your wedding pictures? Did you hire him for more than the 1 hour that comes with the Ultimate package?

Does anyone has experience with Enrique Morales (EM Photography) or Manuel Burgoin? I've come across a lot of great comment on Juan... whos is my first pick at the moment, but my hesitation is having the proofs after the event which i know he does not release. Does anyone have any comments or advice?

For Dreams Cabo do you have a list of photographers you must chose from? Or can you hire whoever you want? Thanks! *SmiLes* Suzanne

I am not too sure, but I think they have preffered vendors, the have certain ones for thier "packages". But if you are doing an a la carte wedding, I think you can pretty much use who ever you want.

In my case, I am planning on using the ultimate package so I asked Marianna who she recommended and she mention Mango first, I looked at his website and loves his stuff so i went with him. Pretty easy.

I was real unsure about what photographers are used at Dreams so my WC was going to contract somebody not on the Dreams list so I worried now because I want to know I can book.

Dreams have their list of recommended vendors but you can bring your own, he/she only has to observe the Dreams policies towards outside vendors, not big deal!

They are all good!
