Riu class reward cards

 

 

Hello to all, I have read on several posts that the Riu class rewards actually go a long way in resort, particularly if you are looking for a room upgrade (which we secretly all want!!)

 

The link to the main Riu website is below, on the homepage go to the top right hand corner & click on Riu class & you can apply for a provisional classic card. You never know, they might give VIP service upon arrival.

Yes I did, also have you gone for the suite with jacuzzi? Got info from another bride on here, she said the hotel gave them the upgrade to the jacuzzi suite FOC, she said it may have been a nicely worded email she sent a week before they went may have swung it, think its worth a try eh?

I have had a card for a couple of years now. You do get some pearks while your there. You can use it in the gift shop and at the spa. It comes in handy. I dont normally book thru their website, we got an upgrade on our room just because of the wedding. But once we got there I gave them my number so I would get the points.

My mom used my card while we were all there. She just used my room number to get the discounts too. hehe

Great information. I went to visit RMB early in January to see the resort before my wedding in June and wish I had known about it then. I have to see if I can get credit for my stay.

You have been to the RMB ? What did you think ? Guess it must have met your approval, since you scheduled your wedding there in June. My daughter is getting married there the week after you....so I am trying to learn as much as I can to help with the planning process. I wish RIU would update their website with maps of the resort & some current photos. They still refer to it opening in September....that's old news....its been open for FIVE months now !
