Those turned out great! I love the idea of having their address on the back. I was thinking of having them say what table they are sitting at on one side and the luggage tag on the other. Then they serve two purposes, a favor and a seating chart tag. (Or whatever they are called!)

The pics don't show how you tied the gimp. Did you just tie a knot before you put them on the tag?
Hey:

I tied the two ends of the gimp in a knot...so it now looks like a loop. I then put the loop into the punched hole and weaved it through itself...does that make sense?

So the end on the card is very neat and secure. The knotted end is on the outside.

That is a great idea. I want to do the luggage tags too and I also downloaded the template from this forum (BTW- thanks to all who post pics and templates). I did a quick search at Office Depot, they have Self Adhesive Laminating Luggage Tags with loops. I think I may go that route. Each pack of 5 is $7 and I will only need two packs.

Thanks for the inspiration.

That makes complete sense. I figured that's what you did, but just wanted to check. Thanks.

I keep forgetting about the dollar store!! I was going to print them on business cards but you can only do 250+, and I need a whole ~40!! I am going to print them on like 65 or 100lb paper myself (since Im already designing them), and but the tags. Awesome idea! thanks.
