I'm getting married at Dreams in June, just a few questions:

1) How was the mexican trio?? How long do they play for?

2) We are planning on having a welcome cocktail party which one of the hotel bars would you recommend for a good atmosphere??

Any input would help, THANKS!!

let me try to answer:

I'm getting married at Dreams in June, just a few questions:

1) How was the mexican trio?? How long do they play for? i had the mariachi band for a little more than an hour...the ceremony and cocktail hour.

2) We are planning on having a welcome cocktail party which one of the hotel bars would you recommend for a good atmosphere?? if you want to do a private event it may be better to have it at one of the terraces or on the beach. then you can have a cocktail hour AND buffet dinner or something....if you are just thinking of having guests meet up at the bar, rendez vous is probably best

1) How was the mexican trio?? I hired mine thru my wedding coordinator(so I don't know their company name), Maya, and didn't really like them. I didn't hear them during the ceremony, I didn't like what they were wearing, and they didn't play the music that I requested. If i had to do it all over again, I would hire a trio but I would probably hire a different one. How long do they play for? I hired mine for 2 hours.
2) We are planning on having a welcome cocktail party which one of the hotel bars would you recommend for a good atmosphere?? I did mine at Portofino and did the whole buffet and casino night...everyone loved it. But Tammy's right, if you just want a meet and greet cocktail party, I think Rendevous is best.

Any input would help, THANKS!!

I hope this helps. I got married at Dreams last October, so if you have any more questions, you can always PM me.
