Ever meet someone famous?

I've met Robert Kelker-Kelly (ex-Bo, Days of Our Lives) too! lol..that's funny. He's hot.

 

Umm...let's see, I'm also friends with Daniel Goddard. He's Cane on The Young and the Restless and now I run his official fan site for him. Very nice man.

 

Also have met Christian Le Blanc who plays Michael Baldwin on The Young and the Restless too, as well as Thad Luckinbill who plays JT Hellstrom. Lots of Y&R folks and will probably meet more this summer since I'll have to cover some fan events for the site.

 

I grew up knowing boxer Ken Norton...we're from the same town.

 

Now, if I can only meet Rob Pattinson, I can die a happy woman. If I can meet him and get in his pants, I'll die happy with a smile on my face. lmao

-Matthew Perry (in a hospital elevator in Ottawa when I was a medical student, back when Friends was still going strong - he was nice!)

-Corey Hart (80's singer in Canada)

-Julie Masse (1 hit wonder singer in French-Canada, married to Corey Hart): ran into them in the washrooms of a hospital in Montreal, they had 2 young daughters at the time so were busy with them.

-Ethan Hawke: literally bumped into him in Yorkville during Toronto Film Fest a few years back, also very nice!

That's about it.

Nice!! Celebs usually love Canada because we tend to leave them alone more than Americans!

I've met some randoms - I met and hung out with Scott Baio years ago when I ran into him at a club in LA. He was my first "love" as Chachi on Happy Days (I'm old!). We hung out for several hours and he was pretty cool, actually. I cracked up when his show came out about being "45 and single" and now he ended up married with a child!

 

I've also met Wilber Valderrama (very nice), Ian Ziering (cuter in person than he was years ago on 90210) and many from the cast of Days of our Lives because my sister used to intern on the show.

I just met Ron Jeremy last week at the Playboy Mansion - haha he is gross!

I met Nick Lachey and one of the other guys that was in 98 Degrees at the time ...Justin, I think? It was at a random, small Cinncinnati bar. I was 19 and on vacation with my friend whose brother was a doctor in the city. He was nice enough I guess, yet cocky and arrogant at the same time. He also had girls all over him. Typical! Haha!

I met Joel McHale & Chelsea Handler from the E network . Also many many years ago I met Vanilla Ice LOL.

Living in Iowa I don't get the brush with fame that you CA girls do! But I think I have a pretty good list!

If you can't tell I am an 80's hair band junkie. My coolest most star struck moment though was meeting my biggest hearthrob, Bret Michaels of Poison. After he did a concert at a local dive bar in 2007, his roadie came out and asked a group of us if we wanted to stick around. I couldn't believe it because I have seen him perform a zillion times and he usually doesn't do autographs after. Long story short, only 2 of us could go and I ran out the door before anyone else could, leaving my FI in the dust, and jumped on his tour bus. Got pictures and got to talk for awhile. I have been his biggest fan for 20 years and I thought I was going to die, especially after he gave me a giant hug and kiss! My FI knows that should Bret ever come to his senses and realize that I am the love of his life that FI will have to make room! LOL.

We do have some local celeberties. Slipknot lives in Des Moines and my FI and I run into them occationally, mostly the lead singer Corey Taylor. One of my co-workers lives next door to them. Also my FI and I met Ben Linus from Lost the other day- he was in visiting family.

My cousin is a up and coming country singer, but I'm not a country fan. Jason Brown. He is making it big here and in Nashville but its a work in progress.

My FI has met some interesting people through work, he used to be a blackjack dealer for 9 years at Harrah's casino in KC. During that time the following played at his table: Kevin Smith (director), Cat Williams, All of the comedians from the Kings of Comedy Tour, many of the KC Chiefs football players, Payton Manning, James Brown, Louis Anderson.

I met Thad a few summers ago when he flew out here to get married. He got married at Paws Up which is only a few miles from here. I worked at the airport at the time and we lost his bag so we had to fill out claims and stuff for him, my friend was trying to come up w/ a way to make him fall in love w/ her and not marry his fiance! HA! Obviously it didn't work!

I have had too many sightings or walk by's when I was running wild. I have been to 5 All Star Basketball weekends and went to the associated events. I love, love, love, Miami and have a condo there so I have seen and met quite a few people there. My most memorable people would be Ludacris in Atlanta airport while we were leaving All Star Weekend, he was really cool for the brief time me and my girls chatted with him. Floyd Maywhether in Houston All Star weekend he was staying in the same hotel as me and my friends and talked to us in the lobby for a good while. My 21st birthday I sat right next to Stevie Wonder in Houston's that was in Georgetown, DC. Another night I was there Michael Jordon and Larry Byrd was at the bar. I really try to respect celebs when their out trying to live normal lives, but one of my girlfriends will run them down, she should work for TMZ. LOL
