One thing that stood out to me and I loved that you suggested was

the guestbooks thru Welcome to the Guestbook Store! Wedding Guestbooks!.

it has a spot for our guests to draw pictures of Bride and Groom. Special memory of the wedding day. advice to the couple and favorite memory of the couple. I think people will have fun filling out the pages:)

We're going to do the dry erase board/photo idea... We will have a dry erase board and marker... each guest will be encouraged to write a message to the bride and groom on the board (5 words or less) then have their photo taken with their message (I am stealing/borrowing this idea from someone else on the forum!)...

I think it will be fun to put all the pics together after in a collage - I imagine as the night goes on, and drinks are consumed, the messages will get more and more interesting!!

Very cute! We were going to do the poloroid idea, but bad news! They stopped producing poloroids and poloroid paper!! So it costs an arm and a leg on ebay where people are selling it.

My favorite idea would be to find a Vallarta coffee book table, but couldn't find one in the states. Have you seen any down there Mishkahuh.gif

So my back up plan is to do post cards and mail them back to us so we get them when we get home... or just bring them home. Not sure. Since I am making a coffeetable book with my wedding photos, Im playing with the idea of scanning in the postcards and putting them into the book as background, or here and there.

Fun ideas you guys!! :)

K8, nope - I haven't seen a Vallarta coffee table book - but it sure is a good idea, isn't it? wink.gif

Another thing I just thought of, if you are the artsy type, is to look at sites like Welcome to Scrapblog! - Online Scrapbooks and Zazzle | Custom T-Shirts, Posters, Art and more... and Shutterfly | Develop, Print & Share Digital Photos: Create Photo Gifts Online - all 3 of those sites have some cool books and postcards (and zazzle has a million and one things you can customize yourself) - I've used zazzle before for postage - I think it would be fun for wedding postage - anyway.... just some more idears :):).

Mishka you are onto something.

Ladies you can make your own album on kodakgallery.com for $39. What a great price for a guest book.

I have three ideas.

1. you can do your engagement photos

2. you can do picutres of the location of your wedding (of course if you have been there before, or ask your wedding guests to send you pictures of their favorite vacation picture)

3. you can build a picture book of old photos of you and your guests and they can find their picture and sign by it like a year book.

#3 is one of my favorites

BUT

We went to PV last year and thought we might do a picture book of our fav spots in PVhuh.gif

I also saw someone who did a picture book of all the favorite places they had been and their guests signed that too.

I think this is such a personal touch and one you will enjoy viewing later in life.

Cheers

Kathy
