Capella Cabo Site Visit Long w/Pics

Great review. Your resort looks great and the food looks delicious. You will have a beautiful wedding.

We are having 50 guests (give or take at this point). I was hoping for 35 and ended up with a lot more. I bought chargers and everythign for 50 so I am hoping some people back out due to the economy (that is mean, and sad, but true).

I think it is a wonderful spot for a Honeymoon~ the honeymoon suites are right on the beach and being finished this month. They are letting me use one of these to get ready in so I am not walking around the property. They are opening another one for my guests to enter the beach through as that was the best beach location and it is a private suite with private steps down to the sand. The suites have a private pool, unobstructed ocean views, privacy walls, and an outdoor shower access from your bathroom to your pool. I can send you pics of them underconstruction from last month but didn't want to post to the site as they were not finished yet. They will be open to the public on 5/1 or possibly earlier.

The hotel is 5 star and will be comprable to One & Only and Las Ventanas. Their goal is to surpass both in service and amenities.

The Drive was amazing~they had so much fun they are cancelling their flights for the wedding and doing it again because they enjoyed it so much. They found a property in Punto Chivato (where our family close friend now lives) that they are going to try to buy so they can do it all the time for the winters. It is very safe and the people are amazing. I have not done in almost 10 years but now that FI heard their story I can convince him to do it as he was a little leary before as well.

Beautiful pics, thanks for sharing! I'm trying to reach out to as many people as possible who have gotten married at Capella Pedregal. We're considering this place for May 2011 so would love any advisement, suggestions, pros and cons of this facility and any helpful information if you wouldn't mind. May I ask what the price range was? Thanks so much for any info. you or anyone else can provide.
