Ideas needed for Bachelorette Party

Ashli, I love that tip jar thing to use towards lingerie! That's a great idea.

I am just waiting until I get to the resort. We are going to do a traditional bachelorette as the last night of single womanhood. It will be free because we are at an all inclusive.

My girls were kind of opposite and wanted to take another trip aside from Jamaica (some of the girls can't make it to Jamaica) - so we are going to Vegas. The room is free so all we needed to pay for upfront is the flight.

 

I have a really good friend that lives out there and she hooked us up on some of the club's VIP lists, possibly with free bottle service, so thats nice.

 

We are also taking that stripper class - Stripper 101

 

Some of the girls haven't been to Vegas so we will sight see on the strip.

 

Otherwise, we are trying to make it as cheap as possible. I loved the idea of a slumber party, so I suppose this is a 3 night slumber party!

My girls took me for pole dancing lessons! It was super fun! They also came bearing gifts of sexy lingerie! We went out to a local bar for a couple drinks & mostly to dance - then went back to my house - hot tubbed for a bit then went to bed at 4:30am!!!

 

I like the idea of a pottery class too! That's awesome!!

Thanks girls! I think it is the only idea that I've actually come up with for the wedding Everything else is "borrowed". I just didnt want people to feel like they had to bring a gift...and I didnt want to get a lot of lingerie that doesnt fit.

My party theme is a sassy cocktail party. My friends are pretty funny and wild. My MOH's want still want to have people bring novelty gifts (fuzzy handcuffs, etc) so here is the wording:

It’s time for the ladies to mix and mingle
These are Ashli's last days of being single
Time is ticking and the bells will soon chime
Let’s get sassy while there is still time!

Instead of panties, braziers and nighties galore

The MOH's swear the novelty gifts are the funniest part of the party. I'm letting them do whatever they want

Ashli, seeing the "Bring some small bills for the game we will play" in the context of the poem, I don't think anyone will think you are having a stripper. It's pretty clear that it has to do wtih stocking your lingerie drawer.. Totally loving this idea.

First you need to have a good name for it like, "The last fling before the ring!"

 

The stripper/pole dancing classes are great, in Toronto they have a place that does that as well as the coyote ugly dancing on the bar kinda stuff.

 

At a friends "last fling" we all came up with alter egos for the night like, Tess Tickle, Barb E. Dahl, Marsha Mellow (you can keep it clean or have naughty inuendos). We went out on a a bus and just had a great night out. Went for dinner and hit a few pubs, lounges and bars.

Your MOH's are the ones to go out and buy the lingerie outfits that get voted on? I love it!!!!

My MOH had swing dancing lessons for her bachlorette. We followed that up by borrowing a friend's hot tub and sipping margaritas by it, all of which was pretty inexpensive.

 

For another of my bridesmaids, we went to the casino (Mohegan Sun, which is one of the largest) and had dinner and went bar hopping and shopping all night long.
