Oh and if you are considering off strip places, I also have stayed at the JW Marriott in Summerlin, its really pretty, great rooms and lots of banquet space and there is a Casino "next door", its not owned by the marriott (The Marriott family is Mormon so no gambling in their hotel) but there is a connector to the casino so you really wouldn't notice its not part of the hotel.

I just bumped this thread but in case anyone doesn't see it

http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t5993

this thread has some photos of the chapels at many of the locations...oh and I have to add onto what Jamy (starchild) said earlier, the Valley of Fire is a beautiful location (I know I got engaged there) and the weddings there have some fantastic photos.

I drive past Emerald at Queensridge every Friday on my way to soccer and from the outside it looks beautiful and it's in a really nice side of town. If you need me to stop by and take pics and scope the venue I'll be more than happy to do so.

I'm not sure if you are looking for something close to the the strip. Queensridge is located about 15-20 min away from the strip.

All of the hotel/casino/resort in the area are practically giving away the rooms, because they are trying to attract visitors. The economy is hitting the strip hotels really hard. It all depends where you want to stay.

Just let me know.

Take care!

I heard that Primm hotels are actually giving away rooms to locals! They want you to stay and gamble so bad, they'll give you a free room. Crazy!

I've never been. I always go to the one off Charleston. If they are giving away hotel rooms, they probably have some awesome deals there too.
