What is your favorite Christmas show/movie?

I have an unnatural love of Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas. When I was little I would watch it year around! I found a DVD version at Blockbuster a few summers ago and made everyone in my house sit down and watch it. It was like July at the time! I am not sure why I love the movie so much, but every time I watch it I feel like a little kid again.

I am also a big fan of Nightmare before Christmas (or is that a Halloween movie?).

I also got a video of Emmet Otter's but they took out a scene or two from the original. Wah!

 

Oh my God - Christmas Vacation - when that squirrel is on Clark's back I die laughing. I've probably seen it 100 times too.

 

I don't remember the name of this one but it has Mr. White Christmas and Mr. Green Christmas. LOVE that!

Mine is A Christmas Story... hands down! You're gonna shoot your eye out... hahaha

Oh I forgot that one. I love that one too. I once got Christmas cards that had a picture of the kid with his tongue on the frozen pole. Hilarious!

I am having a good time watching the 25 days of Christmas on abc,they have some good shows.

I watch the Grinch every year it is like my tradition and Christmas vacation is always a good one!

I'm a sucker for all the Charlie Brown holiday episodes ~ I am giddy when they come on Halloween, Thanksgiving, Xmas, you name it!! I also LOVE the christmas clamation (Gumby looking) series that come on every holiday season ~ Rudolph, Frosty, etc. Yep, I'm a total dork when it comes to my Christmas shows hehehehe

I think my favorite would have to be Charlie Borwn's Christmas and A Christmas Story.

My fav is Its a Wonderful Life....

We just went this weekend and saw a stage version of Its a Wonderful Life. It was good but you can't beat the movie!

I love "All I Want For Christmas". It's probably one of the cutest Christmas movies I've seen.

 

As for animated/television specials, The Muppets Family Christmas. It's one of the few times you get ALL the muppets together (Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, classic muppets), and it's just so fun.

 

Every Christmas Eve though the hubby and I sit and watch It's A Wonderful Life. I just love how that movie makes me feel, really gets me in the mood for Christmas.
