The problem is that the woman who makes the birdcages seems really good and maybe we didn't communicate enough or something. I hate to give the website a bad name, because she does create beautiful pieces, sadly, I was unhappy with mine.

Just make sure you know 100% what you're getting before you buy it. The more information you can provide, the better!

The stuff in her website looks really nice (and costs a pretty penny too!) I'm surprised that happened and I hope it looks better after the surgery.
