How can I spend $400 on OOT bags and still get a lot of stuff?

Please help!!! I have a small budget I want to include these bags, but not trying to break myself....Please include websites. Oh yeah I have 50 bags

have you already bought the bags?? I JUST (like 5 minutes ago) bought my totes from cheaptotes.com for 69cents EACH!! These are quality cotton canvas totes that your guests can actually use while on their trip! I'm going to iron on our logos on each of the bags to personalize them..

also,.. i'm looking into companies donating items.. (little promo first aid kits, etc) we'll see if that works! I'm on a tight budget too!!

hey ... question... all these welcome bags is it a hassle to pack them and bring them with you?? or are people shipping them ahead... how is this done... lol I am new to this

We are on a pretty tight budget as well....

We got our OOT bags at Dollarama... they were $1 each and can hold a ton.

To fill them up, we're getting/ have gotten most of our items from the dollar store and Costco. We're including a welcome letter, itinerary, list of activities at the resort, and spanish-phrase cheat-sheet that we're doing up ourselves. We're also including little packs of tissue, mini hand sanitizers, travel wipes, mini sewing kits, gum, mini chocolate bars, condoms (for the single boys), colouring books and crayons for the kids, and maybe a few other items..... We are putting one 'more expensive' item in each bag - probably a travel mug - that I'm still looking for, and hoping to pay between $5 & $10 for (that will get used at the resort by most, hopefully). We're putting luggage tags on the outside as gift tags.

To save on costs, we're doing one bag per couple... when it's an individual item we'll put 2 in each bag. We're only doing individual bags for the kids, and single guys.

I'm getting those bags aren't they a steal!!! now the problem is filling them because everything is around $1 and when u get finish filling the bags with these items it's costly. I haven't seen anywhere where i can stuf in bulk and for cheap.

I just wrote another thread asking what to put on the front of the bags. Can u tell me how did u go about getting a logo. I called around asking prices on embroidery it was really exp...Please help me!!!

all I am going to do is buy the iron on paper, and print my logos on it.. then cut them out, place them on the bags, and iron over them!!

i did this in high school and college for a lot of our events we use to do, so it is easy enough to do!

on a side note--Rob&Sue have GREAT ideas for the OOT.. I've decided to buy water down there and preprint personalized water labels to put around them and put in each bag..

Oriental Trading Co is a great site to get stuff for OOT bags. Alot of the time they are in units of 12 to order. Depends what you are wanting to put in the bags I guess.

I posted a thread a while back with some $1 items you can order by the case online so that might help you fill them up cheaply as well.
