Simistar - even if you don't do it for the wedding - Picasa is worth downloading just to organize your regular photos. It finds all the photos on your computer and is an easy interface to organize them, edit them, email them, and post them on the web. Anyhow, I'll stop pushing Picasa now :).

So, I'm a little late on this thread, but I was just searching the forum to find out which sight everyone recommends for a photoshare account. Right now I usually store my photos in kodakgallery and order prints from there as well. I'd love to hear more feedback from people. Simistar, what did you decide?

Hey!

First of all...how cute is your cathuh.gif :-)
(I may be biased b/c he/she looks just like mine:-))

Soooo, after checking out all the recommended sites, I actually went with Shutterfly.
I chose this one b/c while I liked Kodak and the option of downloading and prining high-res photos, I just found the site to not be as user-friendly. BUT, we have a lot of older, not-so-tech-savvy people to consider, so that's not to say Kodak isn't user friendly at all. We just found Shutterfly to be the MOST user-friendly.
Plus, for those who do want high-res photos, they can order them on CD, THEN donwload/print them out in high-res...

As well, I will likely be ordering some photobooks from Shutterfly (have ordered them in the past and been happy with the quality etc), so it just seemed easier :-)

Picasa I really liked as well, BUT it automatically uploaded ALL the photos on our computer and I was in a rush and couldn't figure out how to NOT to do that! I mean, we didn't want everyone having access to every single picture we'd ever taken! :-)

Hope this helps..?? :-)
