Meteor over Saskatchewan & Alberta!

DH and I were driving home last night - we live in a small town 1/2 an hour north of Regina - so we were on the highway when this Meteor went overhead - we weren't sure what the heck it was at the time - a plane crashing, or if we were being bombed or what - it was SO neat - and a 'lil scary!

NO way! That's awesome! I would have loved to see that. SO which small town do you live by? Any chance you know where Minton is?

That's crazy. We live in Lloydminster and thought it was lightning at first and then there was a big boom.....really weird!!!

That is so cool!!! I heard about this on the radio on my way home from work...I thought the caller who said he saw it was on glue....lol.

I live in Rockford, IL and I saw that meteor. I was working last night (this morning) and as I sat in my squad car, I was looking up and saw the meteor. I was like, "Holy Crap!!" It was not as big or defined as what the people in Canada probably saw, but it was the biggest meteor I have ever seen. It passed straight over me and looked like it went in a due north direction. It was so neat. Anyway, just wanted to throw in my 2 cents.

I'm in Edmonton, and I missed it - I didn't miss the hype over it though! The city is going nuts.

I can't believe I missed it! I'm in Edmonton too and only got to hear about it on the morning news. That would have been incredible/scary! The videos were so cool.
