Dreams Tulum Closure (consolidated thread)

I just got off the phone with the resort. nothing new. they said (yet again) that they will have information tomorrow. My TA had heard that they would be making the call on opening for high season today or tomorrow...

its still a wait and see....

So-when they all say opening for "high season" what does that mean?

I just saw this article, and almost had a heart attack... It is from yesterday.

Reading it very quickly it says that the environmental agency denies that it agreed to allow the resorts to re-open during the holiday season because "the law is clear", and that they only allowed the re-opening of 2 projects that have followed the law (Playa Condesa & Playa Esperanza). It does not look good...

I am yet to hear from the resort... Supposedly they had a 'big meeting' today, so we should get news soon... I am sooo stressed...

Just got off the phone with Anabel, and they are waiting for the inspectors to arrive. Let's keep our fingers crossed, and hope that this mess gets resolved today...
