Does anyone understand what the safety concern might be with using doorhangers?

I love the postcard idea! Everything looks great!

Some people who were using them in large resorts were getting targeted for theft since people could identify those rooms as being part of a wedding group. Plus, some had guests names or the names of the bride and groom on the doorhangers, which isn't a good idea in a foreign country...just something to keep in mind!!
