Villa rentals or inexpensive hotels

Heather - I would look at Vacation Rentals, Vacation Homes, Vacation Rental Home, HomeAway or ..VRBO® is Vacation Rentals by Owner® Vacation Homes Rentals by Owner - owners are willing to negotiate a lot more on that than a management company like Sun Cabo or Cabo Villas.

We got a villa for New Years Eve and I couldn't get one through those management companies since they wanted 7 nights - finally got one through homeaway who didn't have that nightly minimum

Yep Abbie's right! In Cabo for sure. And somewhere I can have catered for up to 80 people...

Not that I have found.. all have at least a 3 nigt minimum.. but here is the thing about villas (in Pedregal).. music has to stop by 10pm or else the security will come by and issue fines (say $1000!!).. so if you were planning a sunset wedding, well... that would suck! and-- if all the guests werent staying in there, it may be hard to get them in with the gate guards.. oh, and, if you were planning on a beach ceremony in pedregal, their HOA has a rule that only bodies and bouquets are allowed on the beach! meaning no chairs, huppah, sound systems.. or anything you may have dreamed up.

just wanted to clue youin before you do tons of planning because i about freaked after I had everything all planned out, and found out about this! Now, I am having my wedding at Hotel Finisterra, just down the way from Pedregal.

I found out yesterday that the only villas that rent for one night only cost $10,000 or more per night. YIKES. So that idea is down the tubes. But your other points are equally as valid! I think I'm sticking with the Imperial Suite and will just research ways to cut the bar bill down a little bit.
