Asukabook.com or alternatives for Mac users

I have been looking at different programs to make my wedding album, and albums for the families ... and since I have a Mac, come of the more traditional programs aren't compatible. So, I would like to use Asukabook.com, but when registering, it says that it's only for professional photographers and graphic designers.

 

Any suggestions?

I believe iPhoto does the same thing if you are looking to make printed books, and they are really good quality.

Tami go with iPhoto. I have made numerous books using it and I love them. The quality is great.

But iPhoto doesn't let you use pics as the page background, does it? If so, I am not seeing how to do that...

Tami what do you mean by use photos as the page background?

From what I've seen, iPhoto lets you pic a background color for each page, but I wanted to use actual pictures to fill up the background.

I can't explain it well, but you should see what I mean. :-)

Hmm it shold give you the option of no background and let you import your layouts directly... hubby is on the mac right now but I'll look at it this afternoon. Maybe they changed it?

You could be (are probably) right, lol - I am still new to my Mac so I am learning as I go. If you can find how to do it and walk me through it, that would be great. My Mac is in the iStore shop right now, though, b/c part of my screen has gone blank (hopefully covered under my warranty since it's a new Mac!).
