Finally got THE dress!

Been waiting forever to have one of these threads of my own!

I'm sooo glad I finally found something! Here's the dress on the model.

 

 

And here it is on me. I have it in ivory.:

 

Excuse the grainy phone cam pic and the bra straps. I was also holding it in the back since the dress is a 12 and I'm normally a 2... but you get the idea. I can't wait until it's altered and I can really see how it fits.

 

Oh wow! it looks great on you! So how was the madness out there and was it really worth it?? How many people did you take with you?

 

I would love to go to a running of the brides, only if it were close by. Well I'll just live through you

I got there late so I actually missed all the madness! I got there about 9:45 and it was super calm and people were just browsing around. Plus it was just about the time that all the early birds were putting their rejects back so I had a lot of people handing me stuff to try on that they didn't like. I took 2 of my sisters with me but one is pregnant so we brought her a chair and her job was just to guard dresses. It only too me about an hour to find the dress so the process was pretty painless.

I did hear that it was best to go later on in the day because it gave time for dresses to be back on the racks and more individualized attention. Congrats!!!
