guests able to hear vows @ the ROR??

Hi, Girls!

For all those already married at the ROR - did you have any trouble with people not being able to hear you say your vows?

Was there a sound system/mic set up?

I'm specifically interested in how this is handled at the beach gazebo.

I was married at the beach gazebo and both my groom and the minister were mic'd. The guests could hear everything crystal clear!

We were married on the beach and my husband was mic'd for the video. We only had a few people so we were all pretty close and could hear. There were people jsut watching and it seemed like they could hear also and the minister was not mic'd.

We were married at the beach gazebo, no mics, and still those at the back were able to hear! ( we have 40 guests!)

It was a very still day with no breeze, so we may have been lucky!

FI had a mic, I didn't. You could hear everything and it was windy!

So are mics optional? Or do you only wear them if you are having a video? And why were only the grooms mic'd? Is there anyone who had guests say they couldn't hear the ceremony?

So many questions!

We used the mic and it was free of charge.. My guests and beachgoers heard the minister, when we said our vows and when out scripture reading was done by my friend.

You can tell Chandalyn you will need a mic and she can have it set up for you.
