Awesome Letter! Thanks so much for taking the time to do this...it will help us all with this ugly situation.

Any update as to our specific questions? I know that everyone has been receiving a generic letter... but specifics would be more helpful.

Thank you for posting all this information. It is very scary with what's going on. We have paid for the whole wedding package - and they gave us no warning whatsoever when we booked in early September. I am sure that the resorts got a lot of warning before it was forced to close. I feel sick to my stomach with what's going on. My Itravel 2000 coordinator didn't even let me know that this is going on. I have been telling my guest to pay ASAP and now reading this. I am completely shakin up by this whole mess. I feel soooo horrible for the brides that are having their wedding soon...it is unacceptable. I hope they will compensate all of us and let us know how we should all move forward.

I'm not sure if this is helpful for you all but I did to a generic google search "Is Dreams Tulum Resort Closed?" and tripadvisor.com came up and a woman on there just got back (10/12/0 from her honeymoon at Dreams Tulum...here is the URL:

There are a few recent postings on Trip Advisor with no mention of the closing! I am extremely confused. Does anyone have an update?
