So come on, lace up your running shoes, slip into your spandex work-out outfit (you know, that hot pink onesie with a thong!) and start grooving to the oldies! (Or whatever your workout of choice is.) And put down the pizza, skip the skittles, can the candy, just completely forget about the fridge... and get serious about the Biggest Loser 4!

We can all do this, but we need each other for encouragement, not to help us rationalize. ("well... if SHE ate two whole mini-pizzas, three candy bars, 4 hotdogs, a whole bag of chips, and had 6 beers, then it won't be so bad if I do it...")

GO BDW Girls!! GO BL4 Girls!! We can do it!!!

i smell a winner here ... great attitude! and thanks for the motivation ... i just pictured myself in a hot pink thong onesie ... ugh!

however, i don't think anyone was ever asking for help rationalizing (hell, i certainly don't need any help with that!) ... for some people, just having to stay accountable to someone is a great help ... so this contest thread is more like a confessional LOL! but you're right, sometimes we almost reward screwing up with a "me too!" response, rather than a "get back on track now, you can do it!"

hey maybe any week in which we gain weight we should have to throw in another dollar, LOL. (i'm mostly kidding, ann doesn't need any more work!)

i had a work retreat this weekend. it's always a hard weekend to be good because all we do at these things is sit & eat.

I did much better than I've done in years passed. The hotel added mini-fridges to the room recently so I bought some milk & cereal. Instead of going to the all you can eat breakfast buffet, i had cereal in the morning.

I only had 3 beers the whole weekend. that is quite an accomplishment when there is free alcohol each night.

I also skipped going out to eat dinner on the first night & bought a tv dinner at the grocery store. haivng a fridge & microwave in the room really made it easier. typically we eat out every meal except for the night we have a big banquet. I made it through the weekend without gaining a pound. unfortunately I wasn't able to lose anything. I planned to go for a walk during the free time, but it was rainy all weekend.

now I'm back in town & back on track.

Good job Morgan traveling and staying on track is hard.

I lost a little weight this week but I am really excited I got into my goal pants. Last Aug I could not get them over my thighs now they zip, button and I can actually walk in them without have to do 100 squats after I first put them on. Since last Aug I lost 22lbs but for the past 2 months I would just loose a little then gain it back I guess loosing inches is better then weight. So I say if the scale is not moving and you are working hard find something in your closet or buy something and use that as your goal instead.

way to go morgan! goes to show that where there's will there's a way ... it IS possible to put limits on oneself and stick to them! and knowing yourself is important ... for instance knowing you'd overeat at a breakfast buffet, you simply avoided it and gave yourself a healthy option. good work! elefant.gif

i'm down again (2.2 this week) and down 15 lbs from the start of BL3 (9.5 in BL4)! i'm happy to report the loss, but have to confess my gym attendance was less than stellar since i've been sick. i really have to get in there, because not only does my body need it, but it's ridiculous to spend the money on it and not go when you're trying to save for a wedding!

I haven't been exercising at all since getting back from vaca (except an occasional walk with doggie) and I totally thought that I gained. Turns out I lost a whopping 1lb :) LOL I guess it's better than nothing. I really need to get my butt in gear and to the gym!!!!!!
