The resort is about 20 minutes from Cancun.. it's a really easy ride..

Those reveiws helped calm any concerns I have about my new location. The last thing I want to decide all over again are things like centerpieces, where to have the cocktail hour....glad to know they can arrange that all for me the day I arrive.

I thought I recalled reading somewhere in this thread that the Paradisus gives you a discount if you book your rooms directly through them Though Perla is saying that is not the case.

 

Can anybody tell me if this is true??

Perla confirmed that you don't get a discount. I know a number of other ladies have gotten deals (maybe AdamsGrll) but I can say that they are not doing this any more..

I am officially a 2009 DT bride but with all the trouble I thought I'd explore other areas... am I reading the prices correctly? Like 300 bucks for a pedicure? Paradisus seems significantly more expensive than DT... I don't think it's in my budget... is there something I'm missing? Congratulations girls...

Welcome Madbride2009! Not sure which prices you are looking at but some of the prices in the package of amenities are in dollars and some in peso - I think that's a pesos rate - so about $30 bucks!

Thanks MissyR... phew, I was thinking, "man, that better be one GREAT pedicure!" If you don't mind, may I ask what your pp cost ended up being, without airfare... just resort costs? The room rates seem much higher than DTs... I don't want to get my hopes up if it's just too expensive. Thanks!
