So guess what FI and I did this weekend? Ate the crappiest foods known to man. Seriously it was SOOO bad all weekend. Friday night - Olive Garden. Sat - French Toast, Mac N Cheese, Mc DOnalds. Sunday - Doughnuts and then more Olive Garden.

Seriousy, WTF is wrong with me? Our wedding is in LESS THAN 3 WEEKS. UGH. Gross.

Ooooh Tara! Naughty girl! LOL!

Don't you love that fondue cheese at Melting Pot? The desert is SO yummy. I swear if that pot wasn't so dang hot I would lick it!!

We had an uneventful weekend. I worked on stuff at home all weekend. On my way home from work Saturday I stopped at the grocery store and I found these great bags in the clearance aisle. They are Hefty brand 3-gallon bags and they are resealable and come with a handle! They were on clearance for $1.50 and came 5 to a box. I took them suckers home and loaded them with OOT bag stuff. They worked out great! All the wedding stuff I am taking fit into those bags. So now all I have to do is distribute them to my "mules". Ha ha! Are you guys making reciepts to take over in case of customs questions?

It is good to have an inventory of everything. I got that stuff done and finished decorating my flowergirl basket, re-glued my FMIL's flip flops (my son tore off the decorative trim on them) and put more stuff in my suitcase.

I also colored my hair. It's more of a dishwater brown than the redish brown. I am hoping in a week that it will lighten more. That's it! This weekend I have a lot of wedding stuff to do. I can't believe three more weekends and we are done!

offtopic2.gif On a sad note - I got an ugly e-mail this morning from my sister I disowned.

In a moment of weakness last week I e-mailed her and I realize now that she is a freakin' nut case and I should write her off because she is irrational and is an overzealous religious freak. She is totally off her rocker and I'm actually kind of scared of her. People that have very radical opinions on things scare me. She falls into that category with me and I just have to be careful.

That's it for now!

These Fiesta Cheese Fondue was to die for. I could of ate that all night with my chocolate with peanut butter swirl fondue. Sooo goood.

I'm not bringing receipts for customs. But i'm also not bringing all the oot stuff since i'm giving them out b4 we leave. I'm bringing favors though. God only knows where the receipt is for them!

Girls are you all burning cds/or bringing Ipods with you? I feel so pressed for time that i was thinking of just writing down my playlist and not burning the songs to CDS. Is anyone else just making playlists and not bringing the songs? is that a bad idea?

Celina those bags sounds great.

I'm sorry about your sister. But at least you know now that you tried to reach out to her, you dont have to look back and wonder what if you tried to make things work. I think your life will be healthier with out her in it. I know you'll miss her though.

i never even thought about brining receipts through customs... cross my fingers i guess.

i'm putting some must have songs on cds and on my ipod. for example, I LOVE bruce springsteen and cannot imagine my wedding with out some Glory Days playing in the background. but other than the must haves, i'm leaving it up to the dj.

I saved some of my receipts from the OOT bag stuff, but I don't have receipts for everything. I hope I don't have any problems with customs.

We are bringing both our ipods with the playlists created, and CDs. We only have the DJ for the reception part, and from the reviews I have read from other Iberostar brides the DJ also works at the resort disco and doesn't have the most updated music selection. We have a few uncommon songs so I wanted to make sure we were able to hear what we wanted. The other brides all brought ipods and CDs since some of them had issues with their ipods and the equipment so they had to use CDs. One of the girls used an ipod for the ceremony music and that worked fine, but I figured we'd make back up CDs for that too just in case.

OMG! Me too! So since you are a Bruce fan, I have to tell you a pretty funny story.

About 5 years ago I was my friends date to a wedding in a town about 3 hours from us. I didn't know a single soul, aside from my friend. We went to the ceremony and there was a pretty decent lapse in time between the ceremony and the reception at the VFW. Being from out of town and not having a place to go, naturally we went to the VFW early to get some drinks. Turns out the bartender was very friendly and let us drink for free until the reception started. Then the reception had free beer.

Ok you get the picture. Lots of beer.

After the necessary first dances my friend and I get onto the dance floor and befriend the DJ. Fast forward an hour or so. And I've got the DJ playing song after song of Bruce. Meanwhile I have his MIC and am running around the reception dragging these random people on to the dance floor so they can sing Bruce with me. I ended up getting a pretty good group! Ha! He played Glory Days... hm... at least 3 times! And I sang, very loudly and badly to each and every one.... in the microphone none the less

Ha, I was definitely "that girl" at that wedding!! Man, it was a good time!
