Flip Flops

So I've been searching for ivory platform flip flops that aren't to plain. So I decided to just buy a pair of white flip flops and dress them up myself. What do you girls think?

Any ideas how I can make these in more of an ivory color? Or I'd even throw around the idea of putting some color in them!

That is a cute idea! I would've never thought of DIY flip flops. I just got mine from Avon! LOL

Adding color sounds like a good idea. Maybe you can incorporate your wedding colors & buy diff color rhinestones!

I am having the same problem. I bought a pair of sandles that are white, but when I chose my dress, I got it in ivory. I am thinking of wrapping ivory ribbon around the bottom of the sandle to make it match better.

You could definately add colored rhinestones or ivory to the tops to make them match.

Once they come in, I'll take a ride to Micheal's and pick some stuff up. I don't really have wedding colors, I've been doing everything in fuchsia and a bright turquoise. Once I finish them I will post some pics!!

How about if you got some nice thick ivory ribbon to wrap around the sides, and some ivory beads to do the straps? Or if you were REALLY ambitious, you could put the beads over the sides as well lol

Just to let you know, I ordered my dress in ivory as well but my flip flops were white. The color difference was not that noticeable at all. Actually, what really got me was the fact that the sample dress that I tried on in ivory was sooo dingy & dirty, that I was not prepared for how "white" the actual dress looked when I got it, even though it was really ivory. So you may want to keep that in mind.
