Hi Girls,

I hope everyone is doing good and feeling well!

Martha- I am anxious to see how your appointment went today. Let us know when you get back.

As for me, I had my 35 week appointment today. Nothing special, just had my GBS test and my doc checked me out while she was down there. My cervix is closed up tight! I know it's a good thing, since I don't have to worry about Hannah coming too early, but I've been in a lot of discomfort lately with BH and it kind of sucks to know that they are not doing anything to help the process along. I'm looking forward to my appointment next week though because I finally get my growth ultrasound to see how big she is!!

Karma- I'm sorry you're having BH. Mine has slowed down alot. I don't even remember the last one I had, now that I think about it.

I'm still having vajayjay presure when I walk. That sucks! We are suppose to go the the Fair next week and it's alot of walking, then I'm doing the Komen Race for the Cure on the 18th. That's 3.1 miles. I sure hope I don't have the pressure on those days.

I go to the doc for my 34 week in 2 1/2 hours. I'll let you know how everything goes.

Martha & Lisa - good luck at your appointments today!

Karma - sorry to hear about the BHsad.gif

I was at a wedding and a baby shower this weekend. I've been feeling proud of my little bump until now. Almost every single person said my bump was so cute, but when they found out how far along I am, they all thought I looked so small. I've been stalking 20 week belly bump pics online and now I think I do look too small. I've gained about 10 lbs., but I really don't know where it all went. My waist is thicker and I have a small bump, but that's about it. When did you girls all "pop"huh.gif I'm starting to get worried, especially because I only feel the baby every so often at night when I lay down; I'm really hoping that nothing is wrong with the baby.

That's better than being told that you are huge! I have been getting that alot recently. I have gained around 20 pounds!
I really started to show right away. It is mostly in my waist and chest.

I got that alot too!! I was just looking at pictures of me @ 20 wks.. I could still fit into my regular clothes. Everyone is different.. if it's your first then it takes awhile to "pop". I don't think I started to really show until about 26 wks. You probably won't really feel the baby move until about 22 wks. The size of your bump does not determine how healthy your baby is. I carried alot in my back, so I didn't have a huge bump. My daughter was 7lbs 3oz and completely healthy :) Don't worry.. once you get your bump you won't remember what it was like not to be big and uncomfortable rofl.gif So take advantage of it :)

Thanks, that makes me feel better! I was just so frustrated after hearing that I look "so small" all weekend and then this morning I decided to start wearing maternity clothes because I'm halfway through my pregnancy and have a bunch of clothes I want to wear and then all of the pants were too big! I can't wait til I "pop" (even though I'll probably be bitching about being "too big" in a few weeks...lol!).

Argh....don't you love people with their opinions....not!! I'm not sure why when you are pregnant people think it automatically gives them the right to comment on your size. We are all different. I always just shrug my sholders and say, "everyone's different" and just don't let it bother me now. Seriously, we all gain it different and in different areas. I've seen your pics and you look great and don't let what they say get your down wink.gif

Have fun at the fair!! We went the first week it opened and had fun. Except for the heat and the walking. Make sure you are well hydrated before you go. I was stupid and didn't drink much before we went and felt like I was going to pass out literally after 2 hours. Also, if you can bring a fold out chair it will be a life saver. We brought one and every time we stopped somewhere I would pull out the chair and rest. It made so much of a difference!

Ahh, Lizz don't worry about that at all. Some people just carry their babies differently. I'm carrying pretty high so most people don't beileve I'm 35 weeks when I tell them. With my first I looked 4 months preggo at 9 months. I also didn't start feeling Hannah regularly until about 22-23 weeks. So don't worry at all. I'm sure your little one is nice and healthy!!

Thanks for the tip wink.gif I hope it's not too hot next week. We are going after work on Thursday, so we will only be there for like 3-4 hours. The chair is a good idea!

Well, I am pissed. More at myself than my doctor....He did my cervix check then asked if I have had any contractions. I told him no and then he said the baby hasn't dropped and I am not effaced or dialated.

He then got out his calendar and said if I don't progress on my own then I will be induced on Nov. 5th. I was thrown off by the talk about inducing and even more thrown off because it's my ex's birthday. ha!

Anyhow, after he told me about the induction, he walked out....it was then that I realized I needed to ask about the GBS test.

So, I HAVE to ask next week FOR SURE!

Lisa, I hope your appt goes well! The fair sounds fun, but how are you gonna do the Walk for the Cure? I would have to stop all the time to go potty! :)

Lizz, I am HUGE, and everyone is different. My best friend had a baby almost 4 weeks ago and she only gained 11 pounds her entire pregnancy. Her baby was 7 pounds .05 ounces. I popped at like 12 or 14 weeks or so....I bet it will happen soon then you can wear your maternity clothes. I never felt Noah move much until after 20 weeks.

Karma, looks like you will be the next Mommy since Noah is too comfy in here! Yay!
