Does anyone else send at least one email a day to their Sales WC? I beginning to think I may be mine's problem child...Maybe if I ask too many questions it will expedite contact with the WC in Cancun.

Has anyone or will anyone be using rose petals down the aisle?

I'm trying to figure out how many bags I will need to purchase... Any thoughts?

Also, is anyone using any kind of candles or renting glass during the ceremony? I'm thinking I would like to have some pillar candles displayed on the altar in lieu of floral arrangements.

Hi everybody!

As of today, I am OFFICIALLY booked at the Moon Palace for 11-12-2009! I just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to all of you MP brides! I have never been to Moon Palace and based my decision based on some of the great reviews I read on here! My guests are becoming increasingly excited about the trip! A few days ago, my mom went to the library to pick up some DW books & when the librarian found out I was getting married at MP she got super excited! She told my mom that she went to a DW there recently and that it was the best wedding she had ever been to! Then, my brother went to apply for his passport, and the clerk told him that his son was married at MP last year and that it was amazing! This really sets my mind at ease that I made a great choice!!!!

I asked my WC for info on group rates and her attachment didn't come through properly. Does anyone have the group rate info??

Thanks so much!!

Ev

Evelyn -

I've got a listing, however it specifies through April 2009 and may not be completely accurate for November... but if you want the info I have I can very well send it to you.

*** Question:

Being that the MP is an all inclusive resort and guests wear wrist bands, what do you do the day of the wedding?

Hi Everyone!

We are looking at the Moon Palace for a Fall 09 wedding. A quick question I had was about the reception part, are they all outside? Or do they have an indoor area we could use? I haven't decided what I want yet for that!!!

I also heard that the DJ can be up to $1000. Can anyone fill me in on this?

Thanks so much!!

So frustrating.....
(sorry had to vent)
I can understand your frustration - we are getting married 01-29-09

FYI - we arrive on January 24/09 (so maybe we will see you both)

We were just assigned a WC - I was informed through my Miami office contact. I called my onside WC via the toll-free number and she was more than happy to speak with me.

She informed me that she is currently working on December weddings (as they do work with u usually 3 months in advance - which she informed me was plenty of time)

So in the meantime I am making my list and decisions, so that when she is ready I am ready.

Don't stress
Laura

I luv the wristband question - Does anyone know what they do?

As the Bride & Groom we will be taking ours off (as I don't want to wear it with my jewellery and it be in the photos) I am also going to have my WP take their's off too.

Actually from the photos that I have seen I actually have not noticed any wristbands on the wedding party.

just bumping this to see if any past mp brides can help us out with this question - i'd thought about it before but not worried too much about it, because as was said above, i've not see the wristband on guests in pictures of weddings at mp...i'd imagine they allow all the guests to take them off for the afternoon - especially if you are having a private reception!

Our guests were not allowed to take their bracelets off, but some took them off and it was like $15 to replace them, you have to make sure you keep the bracelet you cut off, otherwise they will assume it is lost and will charge you daily for the remainder of your stay. The bride and groom will have their bracelet cut off by the WC. Hope that helps.
