Does anyone have photos of the ceremony location sites?

I am looking for photographs of all 3 gazebos, terrace & beach wedding locations.

We are trying to make a decision as to what location we would like to have our ceremony.

Thank you =)

There are pictures of the grand side on trip advisor, you should have a look, its defo my preference too!

I think we will go down the same route as you with guests staying at the other sides. I'm not sure of the exact distance, but i know there are golf buggies which can take you from and to each side, so i wouldn't worry about that.

This website is soo helpful - you can get everything organised in your head so when it comes to organising it all with the resort, you'll be sorted and know exactly what you want! I don't know how far in advance you can actually start organising things with the resort, its too far away for me to start organising - i can even book my date til next year - gutted! But i have everything organised in my head!lol

i will be taking my dress on as hand luggage - you can buy special hold sized boxes for it.
Thanks for the Info! I think I will carry my luggage with me also! I can not wait to start planning. We are doing the free civil ceremony, and adding extra things that we want. Some of the packages include things we don't want or need, and this way we get exactly what we want and save some money. And that is always a good thing! :-)

I don't know exactly how to work this reply thing, so I hope I did it right! thanks again.

Hale, per your request I've attached some photos of the ceremony locations.

Marlyn responded to the Catholic Chapel inquiry. She stated that Catholic ceremonies will take precedence the day of the ceremony, however she will make a note to our file and if the chapel gazebo is not in use, we may use it.

Also, the 45 minutes for photography is what the approximate time I was quoted. Fortunately, the resort is now offering some upgraded packages which include the ceremony, family, bride & groom, and two hours of the reception. Because we are not having our reception there, I've submitted an inquiry to find out if we can use those two hours for the preparations in lieu of reception shots.

I haven't heard back yet about the minister's response to my modified script. As soon as I do, I will let you guys know.

Is anyone aware of a price list/availability list for flowers through the resort?

OR has anyone used an outside vendor in mexico for their flowers (not silk)?

Hi Marlyn,

I had a couple of questions for you. I will hiring an outside photographer, however they will be staying at the Moon Palace as our guest for 2 nights. Will this pose any problems or conflicts with your outside vendor policy?

Also, our Deluxe package includes a photo & video package. I wanted keep the videographer for the weddding, but since we have our own photographer, can we use the photo package for a different function like the welcome dinner?

And this was her response:

Hi Janice,

Yes that would be fine if your photographer comes in as a guest. Itâ€ll also be fine if you choose the photo package for your welcome dinner.

So it would appear as if all is kosher with the resort. I would suggesting sending a similar e-mail with your WC to make sure you have it in writing so as to avoid any problems at the resort.
Wow - thank you so much.

I just spoke with my onsite WC for the 1st time yesterday and she was so helpful and friendly.

I will be sending her the same email as we have the outside photographers staying as guests, as well as the deluxe wedding package that also includes photography.

I love the idea of have the resort photography package used for the welcome dinner (as we plan on having one as well)

We also hope to use of wedding package dinner as our welcome dinner (I have read that you can do this as well, but I will still need to confirm with my WC)

~ Thank you ~

The map is wicked!!!

I spoke with my onsite WC yesterday for the 1st time and she also informed me of the same policy with the Chapel Gazebo. She has placed a special request with her Manager to reserve the spot for our wedding.

We are keeping our fingers crossed!
