flying and group rates

We got a group rate once we booked 10 rooms then everyone saved $80.

how much did your TA charge?
(this questions really applies to anyone who can answer!)

I didn't have to pay anything. She is making a comission on the trips she books. Thats just my situation, I'm not sure if others charge. There are great TA on the forum you could get in touch with one of them and ask.

Our TA charges $100 (Canadian) to set up the group rate/trip, booked all the rooms, she dealt with the resort, booked my wedding date/confimed it. She's also in charge of sending them all our legal documents for the wedding. She's in charge of contacting our guests to remind them its time to pay up, mail out airline tickets.... the list goes on. $100 well worth it in my mind. I havent had to lift a finger. Except to sign credit card bills.

We only charge a retainer- the amount depends on how many guests and what type of services you require. This is returned after travel however so it isn't an additional fee!
