Past Riu Brides: Night life tips & Riu Map

Do any of our past brides have a copy of the map of Riu? Is this provide when we get to resort? I asked Chandalyn on SAturday but she was still looking for one w/ front desk.

Also night life... where did you guys go on Friday? We're trying to take an excursion after the rehearsal dinner and go bar hopping... The Friday night is also my 30th birthday!

You should get a map when you check-in if I remember correctly. If they don't give you one at check-in, I think they have one in your room on the coffee table.

My wedding was on a Friday, so ofcourse, we were partying away at the resort on Friday night. But, maybe you should go to Margaritaville. I went in the daytime & had a great time, so I'm sure you'd have an even better time at night. Many past ROR brides have gone there. Not sure what their hours are though.

Oh, here's the map that I have. The one I got at check-in is different, it has more information in terms of the restaurant/bar locations.

Thank you SO much for posting that map. It's the first time I've seen one on here, and I was wanting to include one with our pre-travel information!

just ask one of the young bartenders, they can tell you lots of places to go. I can't remember the names of any of the places, but they told us about a lot of parties and bars.
