Welcome Esther! Not long ago I was in the same boat as you but now I am pretty close to picking a resort. I always knew I wanted Punta Cana, DR or Riviera Maya, Mexico for economical reasons, and I spent time reading the threads on this site and also looking at travelers' pictures on Trip Advisor to get a better idea of what the resort looked like. I think a travel agent is a must, as well!

Thank you everyone! It's nice to know that everyone started where I am and have had successful weddings and are in the midst of planning successful wedidngs as well! Today is a new day, and I'm going to dive in!
