I sent a message to Jamy. Just waiting to hear back. No reports of injuries or anything is comforting though. She probably has tons of people checking up on her.

For some reason, it's hard to dial out (from a cell). I work/live very close to Jamy.. It did not hit too hard here, it was just very long. I'm sure she is fine.

jamy works overnight, so she may have been sleeping

Hope everyone is okay...we had one last night here too again. Seems to come in spurts.....I hate them!

a 5.8 magnitude quake is pretty major, right? i hope everyone's ok, that has to be reallyyy scarey. ive never been through one and dunno what i'd do if i did.

We are in OC and it was the longest earthquake I have felt. I am glad it wasn't that strong. Reports (watching the news) are not showing much damage (just water in one intersction) as of yet. No reports of injuries as of yet.

My animals are still freaking out! I hope all others here are OK

ok i just heard from yari! she is ok. she is heading home to see if their house is damaged at all, and she is going to go pick up angela from somewhere. she said she cant get thru on the phone to brian because the phone lines are still down (at least for her). she said she would check in with me after she's been home to let me know everything there is ok.
