"Hunny, will you buy me a private island in Greece?"

So my FI and I have this longstaning joke that he is going to buy me a lake. I'm not exactly sure how that happened... but we just know he is going to buy me one someday.

Well, after seeing Momma Mia this weekend... I decided I would MUCH rather have a private island in Greece. How beautiful!!!

We decided to buy an island, build a couple of villas and specialize in destination weddings.

Any takers?

Shoot... now I just need 8 million dollars to buy this one...

So I sent the island to FI to investigate.

"Oh. That's nice. I bet we could build villas in the hills... oh, that's very nice. How much is it?"

"8 million dollars"

"That's not bad at all"

... never in a million years did I picture having a conversation that said "yeah, 8 million dollars is nothing"

i just sent dh a text yesterday asking if he'll buy me a bmw m6 for my birthday. i always ask for impractical things like cars, ponies, 10carat earrings...he always says yes, but i have yet to see a pony in my yard........

DH has always wanted his own lake that he can stock with fish and I have no problems with that! I always imagine sipping on my coffee in the morning with the birds chirping while I'm in awe of my surroundings. So tranquil and peaceful.

Maybe he is saving up to buy you a BMW horse trailer and a diamond encrusted saddle for your pony?

Hee hee. I can imagine what the look on my face would be if I opened one!!

Let me know if you get the island... I mean. Maybe we could be sister islands or something like that or heck... I'll hook my FI up with your DH... and we could buy the same island... then I don't have to be lonely!
