Weddings on the Beach Coordinator

Recommended Posts

Has anyone worked with Natalia from Weddings on the Beach? I'm getting in Akumal and she has been answering alot of my questions. Just wondering if anyone has run into any issues, or if they have good reviews about the company before I sign a contract with them.

Thanks!!

Still trying to finalize the location. We'll be staying at Las Villas Akumal - maybe we'll have the ceremony and reception there. Otherwise I've got a couple of restaurants in mind that I've been getting info on - Yaxche, Maramao, Negrosil.....

Do you have any experience with a wedding in this area?

I actually am having my wedding in Akumal next June, we just did a site visit about 3 weeks ago. We are having a non-resort wedding that includes having our ceremony on Las Casitas Beach or the Cannon site (we haven't decided yet) and then our reception inside the CEA Center catered and coordinated by Turtle Bay Cafe. TBC's owner is also my wedding coordinator and she's fantastic!! It is a great option if you're looking for something private with a non-resort feel. The CEA Center is quite rustic but pretty beautiful once decorated for weddings, it's really quite amazing! I have TONS of pics from our trip of the location, let me know if you want to see them and I can post here or email them to you :)

P.S. ~ Turtle Bay Cafe's food was excellent, which was a major decision in choosing the location!!!

I'm getting married in Akumal in front of the Cannon House and then having our reception in the North Palapa at the Hotel Akumal Caribe. I haven't heard of the coordinator your using, we aren't using one. I'm pretty ambitious and we aren't getting married til August 09, but the owner of the hotel has been helping me w/ anything I need.

Congrats on your plans, the Cannon site is beautiful!! :) Is your reception being catered by Lol Ha?

I kinda wondered myself if I needed a wedding coordinator, but we're having about 100 guests so I figured I needed all the help I could get or I'd be pulling my hair out, lol fryingpan.gif
