My ring holder...what do you think?

Recommended Posts

Okay - so my FMIL bought this for us - it's a little too turquoise for me - but it will work.

Our colors are teal, ivory, white and accents of silver.

This hat is turquoise and gold.

I'm not crazy about it, but unless I find another little white or ivory sombrero, this is what I'll use.

What should I use to keep the rings on?

I didn't even think of glue dots. Thanks Betsy. I just wish it was another color. If anyone finds one or runs across a mini velvet sombrero in ivory or white, let me know. I think it's the gold that looks so gaudy. Every time I look at it I think...damn that thing is loud!! LOL

Celina- I don't think it's gaudy. After all, I haven't ever looked at a sombero and thought one was elegant either. :)

I think it's a really cute idea and I don't think it has to match exactly right? I doubt the offending gold won't even be noticable to anyone other than the bride. But if you don't like it, get another that makes you happy.

Ouch Rach! smile67.gif Back off my sombrero!

I guess because I am Mexican - they are a part of my culture and have been a part of life and something I have seen all my life. I have seen some beautiful ones and it has more to do with heritage than anything at all. I have seen some that were white or ivory that were just beautiful. I just can't find a little one.

Maybe me and the kids will venture into the Latin side of town this weekend since FI will be out camping. I'll post a pic if I find one. There is this store called "Mexi-Mart" - it's a huge store, maybe we'll find something there. It will be an adventure!
