Moon Palace 2008 & 2009 Brides - POST HERE!

Hey ladies... I've just begun the research on doing my wedding at MP in Feb 2010 (just 1.5 months longer than 2009!)-- can I post here too? :). My name is AshleyRose and I'm from Seattle.

 

I've been reading through this whole thread and there is so much great information. I called Palace Resorts last week and immediately was sent two really great PDFs that have all the ceremony locations and all the reception locations. It was nice for me to have them all in one place -- including the max occupancy.

 

Thought they might help someone else as well if they are looking at MP. There are SOOO many options!

I chose the Moon Palace because not only is it beautiful, but it has a lot to offer. It's a very large resort and there is so much to do!!
Also, a friend of a friend got married there and said it was a perfect wedding and perfect vacation for her!! She was the one that referred the MP to us and then when we started looking into it, we found that it was exactly what we wanted!!
She said the wedding coordinators there are amazing and the rooms are spectacular!! Also that every single one of her guests loved it there!!

I stumbled across MP on my own and as soon as I saw it im like this is the place. I as having a hard time deciding on where I wanted to have it and it was between somewhere in FL or out of the Country. After weeks of no success in FL or the Bahamas or the Cayman Islands I thought hey what about Mexico. Im glad I did becasue there is a lot to do there with a lot to offer and everyone is very helpful. Enjoy your decision!!

Ok, I know a buch of us wanted the menues for private functions. Karina just sent me this. They had it in some fancy font and it was really hard to read, so I changed the font and tried to fix the formatting a bit...it's a little confusing....but...
